Autoguiding is the standard guiding with nearly all mounts and even state-of-the-art systems benefit from a sensitive autoguider. The highes precision can be reached by using an off-axis-guider.
Moravian continues this consequent way and screws the new OAG directly to the G2 body.
- the optimized prism position prevents vignetting the camera sensor
- working distance (back focus) is 55 mm - ideal for many correctors
- ideally suited for the G0 autoguider - the distances fit directly
- other autoguiders can be adapted with the 1.25" receptacle
G2FW cameras with internal filter wheel must use the spacer in order to reach 55 mm back focus.
G2 cameras with external filter wheel adapt the OAG directly. If you use the shorter screws, 55 mm are kept, too.In the box:
