We present a new high-end binocular for lunar, planetary and deepsky observation!
Conventional binoculars usually contain small prisms to save costs. These also have the additional disadvantage of vignetting at long eyepiece focal lengths.
The Tecnosky Wide-Field Bino has oversized 30 mm prisms made of FMC-treated optical H-K9L glass with a clear aperture of 28 mm! (compared to 22 mm of other manufacturers).
Thanks to these features, it will be possible to use high-quality wide-field eyepieces such as Ultra Flat Field of 18 mm or 24 mm or Baader Morpheus or comparable models with an apparent field of 76 °!
With a classic C8 you can achieve 83x with a double field of 65 ° (UFF24mm) or 114x and a double field of 76 ° (Morpheus 17.5 mm).
When used with a 102 triplet refractors FPL53, Apo125, Apo130 and Apo152, exciting deepsky observations are possible at low magnification as no optical correction is needed for focusing (this is necessary with other refractors or Newtonian telescopes).
We are still testing which models can do without glass path correctors and which zenith mirrors are required.
