The zoom function: stepless from low to high magnification
Zoom
eyepieces offer the user particularly convenient observation - because
with just one eyepiece you can cover a wide range of magnifications. You
start at low magnification and increase the magnification simply by
turning the ribbed surface on the eyepiece. The observed object always
remains in the eye of the observer. It could hardly be more comfortable.

Optical quality: extraordinary sharpness
You
will find that the eyepiece is of exceptionally good quality. The
optical design allows image sharpness, edge distortion and contrast to
be maintained even when "zooming through". This is made possible by a
specially calculated aperture system inside the eyepiece and of course
by special coatings and blackened lens edges.

Universally applicable
The
zoom eyepiece is suitable for all common telescope types. Particularly
attractive, however, is its use on ED refractors for planetary and lunar
observation. But a zoom eyepiece also has its advantages for deep sky
observation. For example, you can use the eyepiece to zoom into a
globular cluster and resolve it into individual stars.
