You get extremely sharp and bright stars up to the edge of the full format image sensor (95% illumination at 44 mm image circle).
The FL55SS turns into a fast F/4.3 astrograph with the optional Flattner and Focal Reducer.
Despite its small aperture, the FL55SS provides amazingly clear views of the moon and bright planets with a high-resolution HR eyepiece.
In astrophotography, you get razor-sharp star images that will inspire you.
