APM / LZOS Astrograph 105mm f / 4.6, 42mm image circle, 3.5 "Starlight Focuser
Our SuperED astrograph in a special package with Riccardi M63 reducer.
The bigger brother of the 100 / 800mm is the new Super-ED Apo 105 / 650mm.
The result of the popular developments in recent years is the new Super ED Apo series from APM. LZOS has specially developed a new type of glass that comes extremely close to fluorite without having to accept the difficult properties of fluorite. This extreme ED glass characterizes the new lens series, which is extremely efficient and at fair, affordable prices.
Those who rely on quality instead of the cheapest "China firecrackers" get a "real" look with a test report and guaranteed performance characteristics. The engineers at LZOS have been manufacturing optics of the highest quality for a wide variety of purposes for decades.
The "small" 105 / 650mm comes with a large 3.5 "ZTA extension, which is sufficiently dimensioned for the largest field of view illumination. The features: 360 ° rotatable and separately clampable, 1:10 micro reduction, adapter to 1.25 “is included.
The tube is of course internally optimized and stable, the dew cap is retractable, the front and rear end caps as well as the connection system for a viewfinder and a Vixen-compatible connection plate are on board.
With the Riccardi Reducer M63 the focal length is reduced to 488mm, whereby the focal ratio is reduced from f / 6.2 to f / 4.6. The fully corrected image circle is 42mm with less than 10% vignetting on the edge and 52mm with less than 30% vignetting on the edge.
The APM / LZOS 105 F / 6.2 is not only a wonderfully powerful visual apo for observing at low magnifications and planets and binary stars at high magnification with the highest contrast, but also an excellent one with the Ruiccardi M63 Reducer with f / 4.6 Astrograph. This system with the specially matching field flattner / reducer generates a fully illuminated and corrected field for full format CCDs and generates pin-fine star images right into the corners, even with the latest larger CCDs.
