TTS-160 Panther Observatory Pier

Stable and compact observatory pier
The Alt-Az movement pattern of the Panther mount makes it a good pick for small compact observatories. To match the compact design of the mount head we introduce a stable observatory pier.

Standard Pier adapter
The Observatory Pier receives the standard Pier Adapter for fast and easy installation of the mount head. This means the mount head can be used both in the observatory and as a transportable setup on the folding pier.

It is also possible to install the Pier Extension between Observatory Pier and Mount head.

Installation of the pier
The pier must be installed on a solid concrete foundation. The mounting holes on the base plate of the pier is designed for M16 bolts to be embedded in the concrete foundation.

The adapter on the top of the Pier can be adjusted precisely with 6 set of push/pull screws. This allows for very precise leveling of the mount head.
