This eyepiece is the signature design of the renowned optician Dr. Masuyama. With its 5 multi-coated lenses in 3 groups (modified Plössl) it delivers images with reduced blur border and reduced color aberration at an apparent field of 46 °.

A rubber eye protection guarantees optimum eye positioning at an eye relief of 46 mm. A large rubberised ring allows for a safe handling of the 600 g heavy eyepiece. The rubber ring is removable, so that the outer diameter of 65 mm shrinks to 60 mm and the eyepiece can thus be used also for binocular observation.

The 2-inch barrel has a standard 2-inch filter thread (M48 x 0.75).
