TS Optics 12" f/4 Imaging Newtonian Telescope

Our 12" TS Imaging Newtonian with its fast focal ratio of f/4 is optimized for astrophotography and visual rich-field observation, too. A large 88mm secondary mirror and the Monorail focuser guarantee a visual and photographic field with a minimum amount of vignetting. The mechanical design had optimal stability in mind.

The mount

The Skywatcher mount NEQ6 SynScan GoTo holds the OTA with very good stability and offers generous reserves for heavy accessories like CCD cameras and side-by-side mounts. We recommend this mount because of its well-engineered computer controller.

2" MONORAIL focuser

The Monorail focuser is an advancement of the Crayford design. It offers more stability because the load is not carried by tiny ball bearings but by a solid stainless steel rail.
