TS Optics H-Beta Filter 2" for visual observation and photographyFor visual observation and photography of Deep Sky objects in the H-beta region
The TS H-beta filter has been developed for observing and imaging gas
nebulae in H-beta. Faint objects like the horsehead nebula are enhanced
in contrast and can be observed / captured even under straylight
Fields of use
Observing deep sky objects at the H-beta line (recommended for telescopes with apertures of 200 mm and bigger)
Imaging deep sky objects with significantly increased contrast
Artificial light is nearly fully blocked - imaging is possible even in cities.
The TS H-beta narrow band filter begins to open at 470 nm and has
its peak transmission of 91% at 486 nm. Transmission ends at 493 nm.
2" filter threads on both sides
Substrate is fine optically polished with plano-parallel surfaces
- Transmission from 470 through 493 nm
- Filter in plastic storage case
