TS Optics Adapter with SC female thread and M48 male thread


This adapter fits on almost all Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, many Maksutov-Cassegrains, and also several other instruments and setups with SC male thread (UNC 2"-24). On the other side it offers the M48 male thread (2" filter thread).


Field of use

The adapter can be used to attach accessories with 2" filter thread to instruments with SC thread:

• 
  adaptation of some off axis guiders (e.g. from TS) to SC telescopes
• 
  adaptation of some 2" star diagonals to instruments with SC thread
• 
  straight-through adaptation of 2" eyepieces to telescopes with SC thread
